As a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on September 29, residential buildings, city infrastructure, and the railway were damaged. Currently, 13 people are known to have been injured.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Telegram.

On Sunday, September 29, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with aerial bombs. The shelling damaged residential buildings in the town, destroying the entrance to one of them. The city's infrastructure, and railroad, were also reportedly damaged.

According to Zelensky, 13 people were injured, two were rescued from the rubble.

"I thank all the services that responded quickly and provided the necessary assistance to people. Now, the analysis of the debris is still ongoing," the head of state wrote.

The President emphasized that over the past week, the Russians have used almost 900 aerial bombs, more than 300 "Shaheed", and more than 40 missiles.

"This Russian terror knows no pauses, and it can only be stopped by the unity of the world — unity in supporting Ukraine and unity in applying pressure on Russia for the war," Zelensky said.

Previously, the head of Zaporizhzhia RMA Ivan Fedorov stated that the enemy dropped ten aerial bombs on Zaporizhzhia. Destruction was recorded in three districts of the city.

On the night of September 29, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 22 "Shaheed" attack drones. Defense forces of Ukraine destroyed 15 enemy targets in Sumy, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
