Ukrainian Armed Forces advance in Kursk region — ISW shows map
Ukrainian troops have recently advanced north of Suzha as a result of fighting in Russia's Kursk region. At the same time, information about the capture of Plekhovo by Russian troops has not been confirmed.

Ukrainian Armed Forces advance near Sudzha
Geolocated footage published on October 20 indicates that Ukrainian units recently advanced east of Cherkasky Poperechny, located north of Sudzha.
Russian sources report that Russian forces launched attacks north of Sudzha in the area of Malaya Loknya and southeast of Sudzha near Plekhovo. Meanwhile, Ukrainian fighters struck southeast of Korenyovo, targeting the areas of Kruglenkoye and Leonidovo.
Additionally, a Russian military blogger close to the Kremlin stated that the information regarding the capture of Plekhovo by Russian forces has not been confirmed.
Earlier, we reported that Ukrainian paratroopers from the 95th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a unit of Russian marines from the 155th Separate Brigade in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Fourteen invaders were eliminated.
It is worth noting that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, decorated the soldiers for their participation in combat operations on the Kursk direction.
