Ukrainian Armed Forces Offensive in Kursk Region
"Ukrainian forces recently made tactical gains as they continued intense offensive operations on the Ukrainian salient in the Kursk region on January 6," the report said.
According to geolocation footage from January 5 and 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces recently advanced in southern Berdyn, central Ruske Poperechne, and central Novosotnytske (northeast of Sudja).
The Russian Defense Ministry said that on January 6, Russian forces tried to use Ukrainian attacks northeast of Sudja to attack other parts of Kursk region. Geolocation footage from January 5 shows that Russian troops have advanced west of Mala Loknya (northwest of Sudja).
One of the Russian military bloggers characterized the Ukrainian attacks in the region as a strengthening of intelligence during military operations, which could be a distraction for future operations.
To recap, in recent weeks, the occupiers have begun to use less armored vehicles during their assaults. It is likely that the enemy will suffer significant losses in equipment in the active areas of the front.
