Russian troops tried to seize and hold the bridgehead of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the right bank of the Oskil river in the Kharkiv region. However, the defenders knocked the enemy out of there.
The corresponding video was published by the press service of the General Staff via Telegram on Tuesday, December 3.

The General Staff said that in the area of the village of Novomlynsk, Kupyansk district, the enemy tried to knock the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of the bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil river and hold their positions there.
"Having a superiority in forces, the enemy even crossed the water obstacle. At the same time, the Ukrainian defenders, with the support of artillery and UAV units, knocked the enemy out of the bridgehead," the report says.
Thus, soldiers of the 8th Separate Assault Battalion of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" conducted a clearing of the area in the vicinity of Novomlynsk. As a result of the successful operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the enemy was destroyed, and the right bank of the Oskil is under the control of the Armed Forces.
Earlier, the General Staff confirmed the defeat of the "Atlas" oil depot in the Rostov region.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a video of the training of the Ukrainian military.
