Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported on the situation on the front line and in the area where the Kursk operation was conducted. The North Korean military has significant losses.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, following the results of the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Monday, December 23.

DPRK losses in the war

According to Zelenskyy, the military reported at the meeting about the risks of sending additional soldiers and military hardware to the Russian army from North Korea.

"There will be our tangible responses to this. Now, according to preliminary data, the number of killed and injured North Korean military in the Kursk region exceeds three thousand people," the report says.

The President emphasized that it is important for the world to understand that the risk of destabilization around the Korean Peninsula, in neighbouring regions and waters increases in proportion to the growth of cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang.

"The transfer of modern warfare experience and the spread of military technology from Russia is a global threat. The price of restoring stability is always much higher for the world, than the price of effective pressure on those who destabilize the situation and destroy life," Zelenskyy concluded.

As a reminder, the SSU recently published intercepted conversations of the invaders, which mention significant losses among the DPRK military in the Kursk region.

At the same time, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia is already using North Korean soldiers for assaults. So far, this only concerns the Kursk region.
