President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported where Russian troops are suffering heavy losses. He also explained why it is important to hold the front and prevent enemy troops from breaking through.

This was announced by Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the presentation of the Internal Resilience Plan of Ukraine.

Where Russians suffer the greatest losses

"Our Pokrovsk and Kupiansk are in a really difficult situation. And it is there, in the adjacent defensive areas of our Kharkiv region, that Russia has suffered the greatest losses of the entire war. And we must all understand why the enemy is paying such a price," Zelenskyy said.

He added that Russia seeks to destroy Ukraine and its citizens. The President said that the resilience of Ukrainian defenders on the border line could provide conditions for peace.

"Ukrainian resilience on this line from Kupiansk to Pokrovsk and further to Zaporizhzhia can provide the fundamental prerequisites for a just end to this war," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

As a reminder, Telegraph correspondents visited Pokrovsk and showed photos of what the occupiers have turned the city into.

And the head of the Kupiansk city military administration, Andrii Besedin, reported on the mood of the city's residents and whether they want to evacuate.
