Diary of a DPRK soldier — Mission at the cost of death
North Korea is sending its military to help Russia in its war against Ukraine to "gain combat experience and be ready for military action". One of the liquidated DPRK soldiers in the Kursk region named the North Korean troops' battle slogan in his diary.
This was reported by the press service of the Special Operations Forces and showed entries from the diary of the deceased DPRK soldier.
Entries in the diary of the DPRK military
The SOF reported that a diary was found in the possession of a liquidated DPRK fighter in the Kursk region, Gyong Hong Jong, which says that the North Korean military has orders to perform tasks even at the cost of their own lives thousands of kilometers from home for the sake of the party and Kim Jong Un's interests. They emphasized that this shows the real attitude of the dictator to his own troops.
The military also reminded that the DPRK dictator Kim Jong-un himself continues to conceal the fact that his troops were sent to Russia.
"Task: At the same time, the most important of these (fronts) is the front of anti-imperialist and class struggle, and the most critical task is combat readiness. I want to emphasize once again that the most crucial, life-or-death task for our armed forces is preparedness in the event of war," the notebook states.
In addition, the DPRK military wrote about a slogan that reads: "All Forces to Complete Preparations for War! This is what the revolution demands, what the current circumstances require, and this is a battle slogan that should be raised high on the banner of our armed forces at all levels".
According to Jong's notes, the DPRK battalions are tasked with being able to act and fight immediately upon receiving an order.
"To prepare versatile battalions capable of flawlessly executing any task, even at the cost of death — that is the goal every battalion in our armed forces must achieve. This embodies the spirit of this congress," the diary reads.
Earlier, the SOF showed notes from the diary of a liquidated fighter in the DPRK. There were instructions on how to "hunt" Ukrainian drones.
In addition, earlier the SOF reported that Russia was issuing fake documents to the DPRK military, thus trying to hide the presence of mercenaries at the front.
