Defense forces found a notebook from a liquidated North Korean special forces officer in the Kursk region. It contained instructions on how to "hunt" Ukrainian drones.

This was reported by the press service of the Special Operation Forces via Telegram on Thursday, December 26.

How to destroy a drone

In the notes, the DPRK soldier detailed how to lure a Ukrainian drone with 'bait' and included instructions on how to avoid artillery.

"At the moment, it is not known whether this is an authentic North Korean tactic or whether they were taught it by the Russians. But this tactic uses live bait," the statement said.

In the notebook, the soldier noted that when a drone is detected, three people need to group together and divide roles: one should stand and not move at a distance of seven meters, so the drone will allegedly stop moving. And the other two should shoot at the UAV at a distance of 10-12 meters to eliminate it.

How to avoid the area of artillery fire

"In case of getting into the shelling zone, having designated the next group assembly point, you need to split into small groups and leave the shelling zone," the North Korean military wrote.

He also described another way: since artillery does not fire at the same point, you can hide in the point of the previous hit.

Earlier, the SOF reported that Russia was issuing fake documents to the DPRK military, in an attempt to hide the presence of mercenaries at the front.

And Yonhap wrote that North Korea is preparing to deploy additional troops to Russia and supply kamikaze drones for the war in Ukraine.
