Ukrainian military personnel reported that their recent operation in the Kursk region allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to seize the initiative on the battlefield.
"Every effort we undertake has a beginning and an end, with a clear goal. At this moment, we've achieved that goal. Now, the task is to consolidate these gains to ensure the operation benefits the state politically and operationally. We've changed the rules of engagement — the enemy is forced to pull additional forces into the region. They lack significant reserves and are reallocating troops from other fronts. We also freed many of our captured soldiers and reclaimed territory," explained one soldier.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, added that military leaders from allied nations have positively assessed Ukraine's actions in the Kursk region.
"They understand that this was essentially the only correct asymmetric response that allowed us to restore balance," Syrskyi said.
