Agents of the Main Intelligence Directorate disabled the Russian ship
Ukrainian forces managed to disable the Russian minesweeper "Aleksandr Obukhov", which belongs to the Baltic Navy of the Russian Armed Forces.
It is reported that the ship, which was based in the city of Baltiysk and was preparing for combat duty, suffered severe damage.
"Due to the mysterious appearance of a hole in the gas pipe, water got into the engine: "Obukhov" drowned," the message stated.
Currently, the Russian minesweeper is undergoing major repairs. Restoring the M-503 engine that the ship is equipped with is a difficult and expensive process, as this type of engine is considered to be in short supply.
"It is interesting that the decommissioned enemy ship was undergoing repair work in the city of St. Petersburg very recently, in July of this year," the Main Intelligence Directorate reported.
Note that "Obukhov" is already the second ship of the Baltic Navy of the Russian Armed Forces to be neutralized in the last six months.
Soldiers of special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate managed to shoot down the expensive anti-aircraft missile complex "Osa" of the Russian occupiers with the help of a drone.
