Ukraine will not give up territory to Russia at Trump's demand
A new president will soon be elected in the United States of America. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that if Donald Trump wins the election, he will not be able to force Ukraine to cede territories to Russia.
The Ukrainian leader said this during an interview with the South Korean TV channel KBS.
Presidential elections in the United States
According to him, if Trump becomes the new US president and wants to end the war by forcing Ukraine to cede territories, he will not succeed.
"In any case, Ukraine does not have the constitutional right to give up its legal state territories. And therefore, legally, it is simply impossible, no matter what Putin invents that he appropriated our occupied territories at the level of amendments to his constitution," Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that Ukraine will not recognize these territories, no matter who wants it and no matter who wins in the United States. And the new US president can either strengthen support for Ukraine or weaken it.
According to the Ukrainian leader, weakening support for Ukraine will make it possible to occupy us more and make it impossible for us to win this war.
Previously, US President Joe Biden called Donald Trump's supporters "garbage".
And the president's candidate Kamala Harris accused former US President Donald Trump of striving for uncontrolled power and called him dangerous.
