The AFU explained why frosts do not slow down the Russian attack
The Russians have changed their tactics and adapted to adverse conditions. Because of this, the winter period is no longer an obstacle to the active attack actions of the Russian army.
This was stated by the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yevgen Ievlev during the broadcast of "Channel 24" on Friday, December 6.
How the tactics of the Russians on the front line have changed
As the military noted, previously, the Russians were unable to conduct active assault operations during the winter frosts. However, everything has changed.
"Everyone has adapted as much as possible. Perhaps, when it is 28 degrees below zero, conditionally, the drones will no longer fly as they could. But no critical changes are taking place, and it cannot be said that the Russians will cease their attacks during winter time. Over the years, the enemy has managed to neutralize the factors that influenced them," Ievlev noted.
He emphasized that the enemy is learning and adapting to the conditions. Currently, the Russians have intensified sabotage and reconnaissance operations, in particular in landings, as was said by the AFU soldier. This is explained by the fact that the colors of the landscape have changed, and it is easier to detect accumulations of manpower with a thermal imager.
It should be recalled that the Russians do not stop assaults in the Lyman and Vovchansk directions. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine told whether the enemy is having any success.
The operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region significantly affected the course of hostilities in general. Russia is forced to pull up fighters from reserves directly to the front line.
