Fierce fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector. Russian occupants are throwing all available forces forward, trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.

What is happening in the Pokrovsk sector
Syrskyi visited the soldiers of the 38th Separate Marine Brigade in the Pokrovsk sector. The general noted that the fighting in this section of the frontline is extremely fierce.
"At the moment, fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector with the enemy outnumbered, first of all, in manpower. We have to make non-standard decisions to increase the stability of the defense and more effectively destroy the occupiers. The fighting is extremely fierce. The Russian occupiers are throwing all available forces forward, trying to break through the defense of our troops," the statement reads.
According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the main task now is to strengthen the defense in this area.
"In such circumstances, our main task is to strengthen the defense, in particular, to provide units with sufficient ammunition and its constant supply," added Syrskyi.
He emphasized that Ukrainian soldiers are showing extraordinary resilience and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi showed how the Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroying Russians at the front.
The general also congratulated Ukrainian soldiers on the Day of the Land Forces. In his address, he expressed his gratitude to the infantrymen, artillerymen, tankers, army aviators and all representatives of the Land Forces, emphasizing their important role in the defense of the state.
