Active fighting continues in Vuhledar, Donetsk region. The invaders are almost in the center of the city.
This was announced by the head of the Donetsk RMA, Vadym Filashkin, during the broadcast of "United News" telethon on Tuesday, October 1.
What is going on in Donetsk region
Filashkin claimed that Russian troops are almost in the center of Vuhledar. According to him, battles are currently taking place there.
"The active phase of the war is underway, the enemy is already almost in the center of the city," the head of Donetsk RMA emphasized.
He added that 107 people stay in Vuhledar, but the children were taken out of the city. Filashkin noted that it is extremely difficult to deliver humanitarian aid, water and medicines to these people due to the active fighting.
"This is not the only district where a similar problem is observed. It is also difficult to deliver aid to Toretsk, where about one and a half thousand people stay in, most of whom do not want to leave," the head of the RMA pointed out.
It should be recalled that the Ministry of Internal Affairs showed creepy footage of what the Russians have turned Toretsk into, where hostilities do not stop. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to stop the attack of Russian troops on the city.
We wrote that the spokesman of the SBGS of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko noted that currently all units of the State Border Guard Service are involved in the defense of Ukraine and special combat units have been created to strengthen the defense.
