Russia throws night attack on Ukraine using several types of missiles and drones — report
Russia attacked Ukraine on the night of October 10, using several types of missiles and attack drones. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine answered how many enemy air targets they managed to neutralize.

What did Russia use to attack Ukraine on October 10
Russia launched an attack on Ukraine at around 7:00 p.m. on October 9, which ended on October 10 at 10:00 a.m. During this time, the enemy used:
- 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch area — temporarily occupied Crimea);
- 1 Kh-31P guided air missile (from the airspace over Crimea);
- 2 Kh-59/69 guided air missiles (from the airspace over Crimea);
- 3 S-300 surface-to-air missiles (from occupied Donetsk region);
- 62 strike UAVs (launch areas — Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk — Russian Federation).
To destroy enemy targets, the Air Force used aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
What was the Air Force able to shoot down on October 10?
As a result of the air battle, 41 drones were shot down over Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Dnipro, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.
In addition, 14 enemy UAVs were lost in different regions of Ukraine due to active electronic warfare countermeasures.
Russian missile and UAV strikes caused damage to civilian and critical facilities in Odesa, Poltava and Donetsk regions.
Nevertheless, as of 11:40 a.m., Ukraine is still partially on air alert due to drones that have entered the country's airspace. There is also a lot of reconnaissance drone activity in the north and south.
Earlier today, on October 10, powerful explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih as an enemy drone hit a five-story residential building.
The occupiers also attacked Zaporizhzhia in the morning of October 10. Several buildings were destroyed to the ground, and there are wounded.
