Ukrainian partisans have spotted a convoy of military tractors with Chinese-made Desertcross 1000-3 all-terrain vehicles moving along the M-4 highway in the direction of the Russian city of Kursk. Russia may be preparing raid-and-sabotage operations.

This was reported by the Telegram channel of the ATES partisan movement on Wednesday, December 11.

What Russia is planning

The partisans note that the vehicles were spotted in the area between Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh.

"This equipment is used to perform a number of tasks: patrol and reconnaissance operations, raids, cargo transportation and evacuation of the wounded," the statement said.

In ATES, they suggest that the large number of buggies might indicate Russian forces' preparations for raid-and-sabotage operations in the Kursk region and other border areas adjacent to Ukraine.

"This could point to broader use of such vehicles along the entire frontline. Putin's army has already received 537 of these machines, and by the end of 2024, plans to procure an additional 1,590 units. We continue to monitor equipment transfers and share data with Ukraine's Defense Forces," the partisans concluded.

Earlier, the ATES partisan movement successfully destroyed a relay cabinet in the Moscow region. As a result, the logistics chain between Moscow and the Kursk region was disrupted.

We also wrote that an agent of the Ukrainian partisand movement ATES organized a sabotage on the administrative border of the Kherson region and Crimea. This disrupted the occupiers' logistics in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
