Russian occupation forces shot a civilian woman in Donetsk region. Ukrainian law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General on Thursday, November 14.

Killing of civilians in Donetsk region

According to preliminary data, the murder took place on the outskirts of the village of Terny in the Lyman community on November 10. The Russian occupiers opened fire on the woman as she was walking down the street. She died on the spot as a result of a shot from small arms.

The Office of the Prosecutor General noted that law enforcement officers had launched an investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).  

"Operational investigative actions are currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the tragedy and identify the deceased," the statement said.

On October 27, it became known that the occupiers shot civilians in Selydove. There are dead and wounded among them.

Novyny.LIVE also reported that near Bakhmut, the invaders shot a wounded serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
