Air Force report on night attack on Ukraine — downed tragets

On the night of December 27, Russian troops fired ballistic missiles and attack drones at Ukraine. Air defense was operating in seven regions.

The agency said that that night the occupiers fired at Ukraine:
- two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Voronezh and Kursk regions;
- 24 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and other types of drones from the directions of Orel, Bryansk and Millerovo.
"The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.
The Air Force added that as of 9:00 a.m., 13 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of imitator drones were confirmed to have been shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipro and Donetsk regions.
In addition, due to the active counteraction of the Defense Forces, 11 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences).
As a reminder, on December 26, the Russians launched strikes with anti-aircraft gunships in Kharkiv region and attacked Kharkiv with drones. One person was killed as a result of the attacks.
In addition, on December 26, explosions occurred in the Kherson region, causing casualties. Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Regional Military Administration, said that Russia had intensified shelling of the region and intensified the activities of the subversive groups.
