Night drone attack on Ukraine — how many "Shaheds" were downed by Air Defense Forces

On the night of October 1, the Russian occupiers launched 32 Shahed attack drones at Ukraine. Air defense was operating in seven regions.

The ministry reported that on the night of October 1, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 32 strike "Shaheds" from Primorsk-Akhtarsk, Kursk, and Crimea.
"As a result of the air battle, the aviation, mobile fire units, and electronic warfare (EW) units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 29 strike drones," the report states.
It is known that Air Defense operations took place in the Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Poltava, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. As a result of electronic warfare countermeasures, three enemy drones were locally lost, preliminarily without consequences.
Previously, explosions were heard in the Kyiv region on the night of October 1. An air alert was declared in the area, and air defense activated.
Additionally, on the night of September 29, the Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia. A multi-story residential building was under enemy fire. Destruction was also recorded in three districts of the city.
