Invest in Ukraine now — top areas to invest according to Pinchuk
Ukraine has excellent opportunities to attract investment for state development, especially in the Mil-tech (military technology) segment. In particular, the project of Ukraine House at the Davos Forum is aimed at attracting investments.
This was stated by Svitlana Hrytsenko, a member of the board of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, in an exclusive commentary to Novyny.LIVE.
What is the most important thing to demonstrate to the investor?
According to her, the most important thing now is to show potential investors that Ukraine is not only a charity segment, but also a promising investment market.
"We have to show that we have something to offer the world. This includes our knowledge and achievements in the field of high-tech or military. This is what we can share with other countries," said Hrytsenko.
In her view, it’s crucial to emphasize that investment in Ukraine shouldn’t wait until after the victory or the recovery phase. There are already numerous examples of thriving business developments and successful investment projects underway.
"We can be a sustainable, systematic, and effective partner for many developed countries. We have a lot of experienced military personnel, and there are girls and boys in Davos who came with a purpose in mind — or their participation demonstrated the characteristics of our people, because the resilience of the Ukrainian people is one of the great advantages," said Svitlana Hrytsenko.
She noted that this year Ukraine will present several parallel exhibitions in Davos, including the Ukraine House project, which aims to attract investment.
As we reported earlier, at the Davos forum, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian dictator Putin understands only the language of power, so he cannot be spoken to on equal terms.
Also in Davos, Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a number of statements about the war in Ukraine, Europe's position, the development of joint projects, and more.
