AFU General Staff denied the capture of Selydove by occupiers

Ukrainian defenders continue to repel Russian assaults in the direction of Selydove, in the Donetsk region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the situation on the front line.

This became known from the briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, October 31.

Situation in Selydove

According to the General Staff, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian assaults in the direction of Selydove in the Donetsk region. In total, over the course of 24 hours, the Ukrainian military repelled 28 assaults by Russian troops, which they tried to carry out in the direction of Myrolyubivka, Promin, Myrnograd, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Novogrodivka, Vyshneve, Krutyi Yar and Selydove.

It should be noted that the Deepstate online combat map indicates that as of October 30, Selydove was allegedly under the control of Russian troops.

It recently became known that the Russians shot civilian residents of Selydove. The Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, reacted to the war crime of the Russians. Forbes analysts also suggest that the Russians want to repeat the "Vuhledar scenario" in Selydove.
