For the first time, Ukrainian drone operators have hit a North Korean Bulsae-4 anti-tank missile system. It happened in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by Forbes.

North Korean Bulsae-4 under attack

A North Korean Bulsae-4 vehicle was traveling through Kharkiv region when it was intercepted by a drone operated by Ukraine's 3rd Assault Brigade.

"The explosion captured by a second Ukrainian drone appeared to detonate some of the eight anti-tank missiles the Bulsae-4 carried on its top-mounted launcher," the report reads.

Ukrainian forces confirmed the North Korean vehicle was neutralized.

Forbes highlighted that this marks the first verified strike on one of the growing number of fire-support vehicles deployed by North Korea to the frontlines of the Russia-Ukraine war, along with thousands of North Korean infantry soldiers.

Analyst David Axe emphasized that Russia's record losses exceed its ability to recruit, train, and deploy new troops while also struggling to repair or produce reserve armored vehicles. This incapacity is weakening the combat momentum of Russian regiments and brigades.

"Without thousands of North Korean soldiers and dozens of howitzers and launchers, Russia’s military efforts would be even more fragile than they currently are. That’s why the first Ukrainian strike on a North Korean vehicle in Ukraine is such a big deal. To repel the dual offensives in Donbas and the Kursk arc, Ukrainians will not only need to keep exhausting Russian forces but also begin wearing down North Korean troops," Axe added.

As a reminder, the North Korean troops stationed in the Kursk region of Russia are growing dissatisfied with the lack of food

Earlier, North Korea handed over self-propelled howitzers and multiple launch rocket systems to Russia, which pose a serious threat to Kharkiv.
