The Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the information about the occupation of Illinka in Donetsk region. The Armed Forces also stated that the information about the presence of Russian troops in the city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region was unreliable.

This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram on Thursday, November 14.

Refutation on Illinka and Kupiansk

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on November 13, the Ukrainian military stopped the enemy's advance on Kupiansk, destroying all of its armored vehicles and eliminating a significant part of its manpower.

"Kupyansk is fully under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," the statement said.

Illinka, Donetsk region, is also under Ukrainian control. There are constant battles with the enemy on its outskirts, but Ukrainian units are holding their positions.

To recap, the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to seize the initiative in the Kharkiv sector. However, the Russian occupiers do not give up trying to break through the defense of the Armed Forces.

As Novyny.LIVE previously reported, on November 13, the Russian army attempted to break through the positions of the Defense Forces in the Kupyansk sector. Ukrainian soldiers stopped the enemy, inflicting significant losses on them.
