On the night of October 24, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with two X-22 cruise missiles, two X-59 guided aircraft missiles, and 50 Shahed attack drones and unmanned drones of unknown type. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 40 enemy drones.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Thursday, October 24.

It is reported that the air attack is being repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

"As of 8:30, the shooting down of 40 enemy UAVs in the Odessa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava and Chernihiv regions has been confirmed," the Air Force report says.

In addition, seven Russian drones were lost in location, one in Ukrainian airspace, and two more were turned back towards Russia and Belarus.

"The enemy missiles did not reach their targets.
