The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Zaporizhzhia region on Thursday, December 12. He met with soldiers from the 27th Reactive Artillery Brigade. They were the first in Ukraine to receive the HIMARS systems.

The Head of State noted that the fighters are working to protect Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions from Russian occupiers.
"It is an honor to be with our soldiers today, to congratulate them on the Day of the Ground Forces and the recent Missile and Artillery Forces Day, to hand over the awards," Zelenskyy emphasized.
He thanked them for their service and protection. The Ukrainian leader wished the soldiers that HIMARS would not let them down.
It should be recalled that on December 12, Zelenskyy congratulated the soldiers on the Day of the Ground Forces. He noted their role in ensuring the country's defense.
Previously, the Head of State claimed that Ukraine would not recognize the temporarily occupied territories as part of Russia.
