How many Shahed drones were downed overnight by Ukrainian Air Defense Forces
The Russian occupation army once again launched Shahed attack drones into Ukraine on the night of October 2. The air defense system operated in three regions and shot down 11 enemy drones.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the Air Force, last night the Russians launched 32 Shaheds at Ukraine from Prymorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk.
"As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, aviation, anti-aircraft missile, electronic warfare and mobile fire units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 11 attack UAVs in the Kirovohrad, Odesa and Sumy regions," the statement said.
In addition, the Ministry added that four enemy drones left Ukrainian airspace in the direction of Russia. As a result of electronic warfare countermeasures, another ten enemy UAVs were lost in the northern and central regions. The information is currently being verified.
As a reminder, explosions were heard in the Kyiv region last night. The Air Defense Forces were active due to the attack drones' threat to the region.
We also reported that on the evening of October 1, the Russians launched a drone attack in the Sumy region. As a result of the enemy attack, three communities in the Shostka district were cut off from electricity.
