Dozens of drones attacked the Krasnodar region of Russia on the night of November 15. Explosions were heard in the region almost all night long.

This was reported by the Russian media.

Explosions in the Krasnodar Territory on November 15

Explosions were heard almost all night in the Krasnodar region. Local residents complain online that the region was attacked by drones and that the falling debris caused damage and fires in houses. Nevertheless, the Russian authorities claim to have "successfully" repelled the attack without damage or casualties.

For example, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that air defense was allegedly operating that night and "managed to shoot down 36 drones". Instead, the head of the Crimean district of Krasnodarsky Krai, Serhiy Les, said in a post that has since been deleted that 46 drones were spotted over their district alone.

"The operational headquarters of the Crimean district continues to work. Overnight, 46 UAVs were downed over the territory of the district. There were no civilian casualties. Two streets in the city, Lunna and Koltseva, have been cordoned off where parts of the drones crashed. Rescuers and all operational services are at the scene," Les' deleted post read.

According to the governor, it is currently known that Russian residents' property has been damaged — several UAVs damaged the roofs and windows of houses and cars nearby.

At the same time, the Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Oleksandr Kovalenko, said that last night the Krymsk military airfield in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation was attacked.

Of course, Russia did not mention the airfield in the region. And as a result, they could not accurately count the number of drones that were allegedly shot down by their air defense. At first it was 36 UAVs, then 46, and now they are reporting 51 drones.

As a reminder, on October 30, a fire broke out at one of the largest enterprises in the Russian electrical industry. It was the Elektroizolit plant.

On October 28, the Russian city of Voronezh and its region were attacked by drones. Two distilleries caught fire as a result of the attack, and a marketplace of 800 square meters was on fire.
