The USA will provide Ukraine with another $20 billion by the end of the year
Ukraine may receive $20 billion from the United States. The country plans to provide these funds as part of a large-scale credit program led by the G7.
Bloomberg writes about this on Tuesday, October 22.
New financial assistance from the US
US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said that the G7 countries plan to complete a $50 billion loan agreement for Ukraine this week. The funds will be received from frozen assets of the Russian central bank.
According to her, only a few "relatively small issues" remain to be resolved and there is nothing significant that needs to be finalized.
Ukraine should receive $20 billion by the end of this year. It will be allocated for military and economic needs.
It should be recalled that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, met today with the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin.
