Disappointment for those who expect peace — military on why Russia will not stop
Russia will not stop its offensive at the front. The army will not stop as long as it is able to advance at least a little in any direction.
Yehor Firsov, a sergeant in a company of strike UAVs, said this in an interview with Radio NV.
Why Russia will not stop the offensive and will not agree to a truce
Yehor Firsov said that Russia will continue to attack until it has exhausted all its resources and is able to advance. The success of the military operations motivates the military command and the Kremlin to continue the attack.
"I immediately disappoint those who expect, so to speak, the end of hostilities, who expect peace, some kind of ceasefire: until the enemy has exhausted its resources and until the enemy feels that its military operations are successful, the enemy will not stop," the military said.
The Kremlin is waiting for the front to "crumble"
He also believes that we should not expect peace talks or a ceasefire, and that all the Kremlin's statements about its willingness to negotiate are just a bluff.
"As long as the Russians are advancing, even if it is one kilometer a week, it gives them every reason to understand that they are doing everything right, they have to push, push, push... Remember their mindset: "We're going to push now, it's not going well, one kilometer a week, but eventually it will collapse". That's their plan and how they think," says Firsov.
The military also expressed the opinion that Ukraine should focus on the military component of the war rather than on diplomatic agreements.
As a reminder, Volodymyr Dehtiarov, a spokesman for the public relations service of the Charter Brigade, named two tactics that Russia has left for an offensive.
Meanwhile, it was reported that North Korea could deploy its troops in Ukraine alongside Russian troops.
Previously, analysts from the Institute for War Studies stated that Russia is losing its offensive potential and explained why.
