Russians target a geriatric home in Kherson region

On the night of October 9, the occupants attacked a nursing home in Kherson region. There are victims in the geriatric center. 

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Attack on a geriatric center in Kherson region

The investigation established that Russia launched an artillery attack on Stepanivka in Kherson district on October 9 at around 02:00 a.m. and hit a geriatric center. Two medical workers were injured as a result of the attack.

"Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a preliminary investigation has been opened in the criminal case on violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, together with other law enforcement agencies, are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian armed forces," the press service said. 

Recently, two civilians were injured by a Russian mine explosion in Kherson region. It also became known how many enemy targets the Ukrainian Air Force shot down last night.
