Russian troops have begun launching more Shahed kamikaze drones across Ukraine. But the Air Defense Forces, thanks to electronic warfare, are shooting them down more effectively.

Russian drone attacks

The increase in Russia's domestic production of Shahed drones has allowed it to increase the number of UAVs it uses in attacks on Ukraine. At the same time, Ukraine's innovations in the field of electronic warfare allow it to respond more effectively to Russian drones.

According to military expert Petro Chernyk, Russia has increased the production of airframes for Shahed drones, while other components continue to be imported from Iran or China.

The analysts noted that the dynamics of increasing the number of drones during the attacks was observed during October and November. Most often, Russians launched 80 to 100 drones across Ukraine. For example, on the night of December 2, 110 UAVs were spotted in the airspace.

As a reminder, yesterday the enemy hit a residential building in Ternopil with a drone.

According to Viacheslav Nehoda, the head of the UMA, the wreckage of a Geran drone was found at the site.
