Ukraine's victory plan is more of a wish list, — Gary Tabach

The plan for the victory of Ukraine is not a "plan" from a military point of view, since such plans are usually not announced to the general public and have many more points. After all, real plans take into account many options for the development of events.

Retired US Navy Captain Gary Tabach said this in an interview with Novyny.LIVE.

Ukraine's victory plan

The real plans for victory are usually kept secret. And not only from enemies, but sometimes even from allies.

"For example, today, Israel is not informing our administration of their plans to fight their enemy because sometimes it leaks, sometimes they give it away. And you keep your plans very, very close to yourself. So it's more of a very good wishlist that Ukraine needs, or it is necessary for Ukraine to execute a successful plan in this war", said Gary Tabach.

The plan should also take into account various scenarios. For example, the election of Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.

"The situation in Ukraine could change drastically. War is a very unpredictable thing. So if it changes drastically, then you have to change the plan. What I'm trying to say, there is no one set of plans. You should have different contingencies. You have a plan A, plan B, plan C", the military expert explained.

Earlier Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Ukraine's victory plan, which includes five points. Three more points are confidential.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte commented on the victory plan. He emphasized that there are aspects — both political and military — that still need to be discussed.
