Russian occupiers have set a new record for weekly advances since the beginning of 2022. During this period, they seized about 235 square kilometres of Ukrainian territory.

The publication notes that the pace of the Russian invaders' offensive has reached its highest levels since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, when they seized significant territories. However, over time, they were pushed back to the eastern and southern regions, and the front line remained stable for two years, until active hostilities began in the summer of 2024.
"Last week, the Russian army seized almost 235 square kilometres of Ukrainian territory, a weekly record for 2024," the article says.
Some Western and Russian officials believe that the war is approaching its "most dangerous" phase. Moscow has begun to engage the North Korean military, while Ukraine is using Western missiles to strike Russian territory.
As a reminder, Ukrainian troops are successfully repelling attacks by Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv sector. Chechen special forces are known to be trying to break through the border.
Also, the Ukrainian border guards of the Revenge brigade continue to carry out powerful strikes against the Russian occupiers and their equipment. In the Donetsk region they organised a real "demilitarisation fireworks".
