Russian occupants plan to take about five thousand children from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region to Russia. To do this, the invaders created a "program" that provides for propaganda trips of schoolchildren to Russian cities.

This was reported by the National Resistance Center (NRC).

The NRC said that the occupiers have created the so-called "Cultural Map 4+58" program, under which they plan to take five thousand children from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region to Russia.

"The Cultural Map provides for propaganda trips of schoolchildren to the cities of Russia in order to brainwash young Ukrainians and further Russify them. In addition, children are offered to continue their education in the Russian Federation," the statement said.

The center also added that in 2025, the Kremlin is strengthening its policy of assimilation of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories. For this purpose, additional "programs" of the Russian Ministry of Culture have been created and those that have been operating since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have been strengthened.

In addition to the aforementioned program, the Russians are actively multiplying other ways of exporting Ukrainian children. These are "university camps" and "recreational" trips.

On January 7, three children were returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories. These are a 17-year-old man and two young boys.

The Office of the President reported that in 2024, Ukraine was able to return 449 children illegally deported and detained by Russia in the temporarily occupied territories.
