Oil depot in Oryol region of Russia under attack — General Staff
On the night of Saturday, December 14, soldiers of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces, struck at the Stalnoy Kon line-production dispatch station in the Orel region of Russia. It is reported that this is one of the largest oil product terminals in the suburbs of the city of Orel.
The defeat of the enemy object was confirmed by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The strike by the Special Operations Forces in the Oryol region
It is reported that the Stalnoy Kon linear production and dispatching station is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, which provides oil products for the Russian army. As a result of the damage, a massive fire broke out.
"The results of combat operations are being finalized. To be continued... Glory to Ukraine!" reported the General Staff.
The successful work of the Ukrainian special forces was confirmed by the governor of the Oryol region of the Russian Federation, Andrey Klychkov. He also said that during the drone attack, a large-scale fire broke out at the attacked facility.
As a reminder, at least one explosion has recently occurred in Kursk. Its consequences are currently unknown.
In addition, Taganrog, Rostov Region, came under a missile attack. As a result of the attack, an industrial enterprise and a boiler house were damaged, and 27 houses were left without heating.
