The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, on Monday, November 18. He awarded Ukrainian defenders.
The Ukrainian leader reported this via Telegram.
Visiting the Pokrovsk direction
"Pokrovsk. I have visited the location of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav brigade, which is defending the city. I have communicated with the defenders and awarded them," the message says.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the situation in this direction is tense, but thanks to the strength of the soldiers, the Russian troops were unable to completely occupy Eastern Ukraine.
"The enemy receives a response every day. Thank you to the soldiers for your courage!" the President added.
Previously, Zelenskyy stated that one of the main points of the Ukrainian Strengthening Plan is ensuring long-range capabilities for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The document has already been presented to partners.
In addition, the US has given Ukraine permission to launch ATACMS missiles at Russian territory. In return, Russia has already reacted, calling it "increasing tensions".
