What was discussed at the meeting with State Defense Committee
Zelenskyy said that during the meeting with State Defense Committee he heard a report by the Commander of the Air Force Anatolii Kryvonozhko on the most important needs, in particular:
• fighting against Russian air terror;
• strengthening air defense in the regions that need it most;
• developing new solutions in the fight against guided aerial bombs;

"Now, Russia is using about ten times more Shahed drones than last fall, so we must fully counteract them," the President said.
There were also reports on our own production: shells, weapons, hardware, electronic warfare equipment, drones. The results of contracting for the current year and planning for the next were also discussed.
In addition, during the meeting with State Defense Committee, 3-5-year contracts were considered which Ukraine offers to Ukrainian manufacturers of strategic-level drones. This requires a long planning horizon, development and investments for manufacturers.

As a reminder, on November 4, Zelenskyy also held a meeting with the military leadership. The main topic of discussion was the situation on the front line and the results of the Kursk operation.
Previously, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi had a telephone conversation with US General Charles Brown, where he discussed military support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
