President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the situation on the front line. According to him, the Russian occupiers are trying to expand offensive actions, in particular in the Kupyansk direction.

The Ukrainian leader said this during an evening speech on Wednesday, November 13.

The situation at the front line

The Head of State noted that he had listened to the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on the front line. The most of the attention was paid to the Donetsk region and the attempts of the invaders to expand offensive actions.

Zelenskyy thanked all units for their resilience and noted the combat brigades, which showed themselves as extremely brave and efficient.

"The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade, the 60th and 65th Separate Mechanized Brigades, the 68th Separate Jaeger brigade, the 102nd, 124th and 126th brigades of the Territorial Defense, the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade. Well done, soldiers!" the Ukrainian leader added.

It should be recalled, that Zelenskyy spoke with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. They discussed defense policy issues, including the possibility of supplying additional air defense systems.

Previously, Zelenskyy reported that military personnel will be able to change the unit. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a corresponding resolution.
