A pilot involved in shelling of Ukrainian cities found dead in Russia — DIU
The chief of staff of an aviation squadron, Dmitry Golenkov, was found dead near the Russian city of Bryansk. He was involved in massive strikes on Ukraine.

The GUR said that the body of the war criminal was found on the morning of October 20 in an apple orchard in the village of Suponevo, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.

According to intelligence reports, Golenkov was a pilot in the 52nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces (military unit 33310), based at the Shaykovka airfield and equipped with Tu-22M3 bombers. He held the position of chief of staff of the Russian aviation squadron.
It is noted that he was involved in massive missile strikes on Ukraine, including the attack on the Amstor shopping center in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region, in June 2022. At that time, approximately 1 thousand people were in the shopping center. As a result of the Russian attack, 22 people were killed, and dozens were injured.
Additionally, Golenkov was responsible for the missile strike on a residential building in Dnipro on January 14, 2023, which resulted in the deaths of 46 Ukrainian civilians, including six children.
"The body of the Russian war criminal Dmitry Golenkov was found with multiple head injuries, likely inflicted by a hammer. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasizes that there will be just punishment for every war crime," the agency stated.
On October 18, a Russian war criminal, Major Dmitry Pervukha, was killed in the center of temporarily occupied Luhansk. He held the position of the so-called "chief of staff for military service and security of military service".
