Berlin Declaration on Ukraine — it's about NATO and the EU
The Foreign Ministers of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, France and Ukraine, as well as the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, met in Berlin. As a result of the meeting, the participants adopted the Berlin Declaration, which confirms the unwavering solidarity and strong support of Ukraine by European partners in the period of confrontation with Russian aggression.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, which published the text of the declaration.
What is specifically stated in the declaration
The document clearly defines Ukraine's victory as the main goal of joint efforts. It is emphasized that any peace talks on Ukraine should take place with Ukraine's participation and with the active position of European countries.
The Ministers reaffirm that Europe's sustainable security is linked to the restoration of a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine on the basis of international law, in particular the UN Charter, with full respect for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
