Ukraine will receive 12 CAESAR self-propelled howitzers from France

France will transfer new military aid to Ukraine. Defense forces will receive 12 CAESAR self-propelled howitzers.
This was announced by French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu via the X social network on Friday, October 4.
CAESAR self-propelled guns for Ukraine
According to Lecornyu, the relevant agreement was signed on October 3 in Kyiv, and the Ukrainian side will provide financing for the supplies.
"Yesterday, during the industrial forum organized in Kyiv, KNDS France signed a contract for the supply of 12 CAESAR cannons financed by Ukraine. The increase in the production capacity of our defense industry enables us to support Ukraine," the minister said.
It should be recalled that Ukraine has already received more than a third of the planned ammunition from the Czech initiative. The rest should be delivered by the end of this year.
Another Patriot anti-missile defense system arrived in Ukraine earlier. It was provided by Romania.
