A "minister" of the so-called LPR allegedly shot himself in Russia
Konstantin Zavizenov, the so-called "Minister of Fuel and Energy" of the so-called LPR, was found dead in his home near Moscow. The underage son denies that his father wanted to commit suicide.
This was reported by the opposition Telegram channel VChK-OGPU.
What Zavizenov's son and investigators say
The Telegram channel reports that the body of former "LPR Minister" Konstantin Zavizenov was found in the Istra district. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, and investigators are considering suicide due to his recent divorce. However, his underage son claims that his father had no such intentions and was planning a hunting trip. Zavizenov had intended to spend the night at a hotel and pick up his rifles the next morning to head to Kamchatka.
On the other hand, the investigation has a brief "Goodbye" message that Zavizenov sent to many friends and acquaintances ten days earlier, though he didn't commit suicide at that time.
Konstantin Zavizenov was a Russian citizen who worked in the Ministry of Energy of Russia and Rosenergoatom.
In August 2022, he was appointed the "Minister of Energy" for the occupied territory of Luhansk, but a year later, he resigned, citing the need "to care for his wife".
