Results of the Ukrainian Air Force's operations

Russia launched attack drones from Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, and Cape Chauda.

To neutralize enemy targets, the Ukrainian Air Force employed aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire units of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

In total, Ukrainian defenders detected and tracked 105 enemy aerial targets.

They successfully shot down 78 drones in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Chernihiv, Kherson, Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

The military also added that one drone flew toward Belarus, and 23 Shaheds were lost in various regions of Ukraine, likely due to electronic warfare (EW) countermeasures.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively developing their own drones. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the number of drones they aim to produce by the end of 2024. Additionally, the Ministry of Strategic Industries revealed plans for the "Palianytsia" drone missile.
