On the night of Wednesday, December 11, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked a Russian oil depot in the Bryansk region. After the strike, a large-scale fire broke out at the facility.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Details of the operation

The General Staff says that the strike on the oil depot in the Bryansk region of Russia was carried out by the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the support of reconnaissance men.

"OD Bryansk is a loading point of the Druzhba oil pipeline, the main function of which is to receive, store, distribute and deliver diesel fuel to tanker trucks and rail transport," the statement said.

It is noted that this facility is used to provide fuel to the Russian occupation forces.

"According to the information available, the tank farm was hit by a missile and then a fire broke out. A massive fire broke out. The results of the fighting are being clarified," the General Staff added.

As a reminder, on December 11, a series of explosions occurred in Bryansk, Russia. Local residents complained about a UAV attack, and later a fire broke out at the Transneft oil depot.

Also on December 11, the Russian city of Taganrog, Rostov Region, was attacked by missiles. The attack damaged an enterprise and left a number of buildings without heating.
