The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced how much the number of Russian occupiers has increased over the year. According to him, there are 100 thousand more of them in Ukraine.

Oleksandr Syrskyi said this in an interview with Le Monde.

Occupiers in Ukraine

"The number of Russian troops is constantly increasing. This year, according to our estimates, an additional 100 thousand Russian soldiers are on Ukrainian soil," Syrskyi noted.

According to him, the war has reached such a technological level that now we can talk about both a confrontation of technologies and troops. He believes that this has significantly influenced the tactics used by soldiers on the battlefield.

"Our main goal in defense is to inflict maximum losses on the enemy on the battlefield and destroy its military potential deep in his territory," Syrskyi added.

As a reminder, Syrskyi stated that Ukrainian soldiers are conducting active combat operations on a front line with a total length of over 1,170 kilometers.

Previously, the Commander-in-Chief visited the servicemen of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi.
