On Friday, October 25, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Olexander Syrskyi. It concerned the situation on the front line as of today.

The Ukrainian leader reported this via Telegram.

"Report of the Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi. The situation on the front line now, special attention is paid to Pokrovsk, Kurakhiv and Lyman directions," the report says.

He noted that it is difficult in the Donetsk region, but combat brigades are holding their positions and doing everything possible to destroy the occupiers. Separately, Syrskyi informed about the Kursk operation: tasks are being implemented.

According to Zelenskyy, the buffer zone on Russian territory protects Ukraine from Russian attempts to expand the war in the east and creates tangible losses for the enemy.

In addition, there was talk of involving North Korean military personnel in the war on the side of Russia — the first groups of soldiers will be in combat zones on October 27-28.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the involvement of the DPRK should be responded to in the form of tangible pressure on both Moscow and Pyongyang.

Previously, the Deputy Commander of the 3rd Russian Infantry Brigade, Maxim Zhorin, reported on the extremely difficult situation at the front line.

We also wrote that North Korea has sent its fighter pilots to Russia, who may take part in the war against Ukraine.
