This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram on Wednesday, October 9.
Attack on the storage base of Shaheed drones
"Today, the strike group of the forces and equipment group of the Navy Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with units of the Security Service of Ukraine, attacked the storage base of the Shahed type UAV, which is located near the settlement of Oktyabrskyi in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation," the message stated.
According to available data, approximately 400 attack drones were placed at this facility. According to the results of objective observation, an accurate hit on the target was confirmed, which caused secondary explosions on the territory of the object.
The General Staff emphasized that the destruction of the base will significantly reduce the ability of the occupiers to terrorize peaceful residents of Ukrainian cities and villages.
It should be recalled that Russia began to lose expensive and rare samples of air defense systems and multiple-launch rocket systems. Ukrainian forces are increasingly detecting critical enemy hardware that provides airspace protection along the front line.
Ukrainian military officer Kyrylo Sazonov also shared the details of the Russian tactics in the Kursk region. He noted that they use small infantry groups supported by drones and artillery.
