Russians launched 44 UAVs overnight — Air Defense report

Russia used ballistic missiles and drones against Ukraine. Explosions were heard in 11 regions. Some of the enemy targets were lost due to electronic warfare countermeasures, while others were neutralized.

How many enemy targets were neutralized by air defense
It is known that the first wave of the enemy attack began on December 4 at about 8:00 p.m. and lasted until the morning of December 5. The enemy used two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, which were launched from the Rostov region at Ukraine, as well as 44 Shahed drones, which took off from Orel and Kursk.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 8:30 a.m., units of air defense missile troops and mobile fire groups had shot down 30 enemy UAVs. Enemy targets were neutralized in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions.
Another 12 drones were lost in the area, and one left the controlled airspace in the direction of Belarus.
As a reminder, Russians are attacking Ukraine with drones every day. In particular, yesterday, on December 4, the Ukrainian Air Force reported 50 UAVs. On Tuesday, December 3, residential buildings and cars were damaged in the Kyiv region as a result of an enemy attack.
