A border guard with the call sign "Hrek" discussed the most effective weapon on the front lines and the threat to the rear. According to him, UAVs are transforming the nature of warfare.

The video was published by the press service of the State Border Guard Service viaTelegram on Friday, December 27.

Using drones on the front line

The commander of the aerial reconnaissance unit of the Kharkiv Border Detachment, Hrek, has been participating in the war since 2014. While drones were initially used exclusively for reconnaissance, with the onset of the full-scale invasion, they have evolved into a powerful weapon significantly influencing the course of combat operations.

Hrek noted that modern drone operators have perfect motor skills, technical flair and strong motivation. According to him, the war is no longer limited to aerial drones, as there are ground and underwater modifications.

"Now we need to join forces. If this is not done, the front may be where the rear is now," emphasized Hrek.

As a reminder, border guards repelled an enemy assault in the Siverskyi axis, eliminating eight invaders.

Earlier, the State Border Guard Service showed how they destroyed vehicles, an ammunition depot, and an occupiers' hideout in Kharkiv region.
