General Staff declared the most massive strike on Russian targets

On the night of Tuesday, January 14, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched the most massive strike on Russian territory. The defenders hit a number of targets at a distance of up to 1,100 kilometers.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff on Telegram.

The attack on Russia on January 14

"On the night of January 14, the Defence Forces of Ukraine carried out the most massive strike on the occupiers’ military targets at a distance of 200 to 1,100 km deep in the Russian Federation," it is said in the statement.

Russian targets in Bryansk, Saratov, Tula regions, and the Republic of Tatarstan were hit. The Armed Forces of Ukraine re-attacked the oil products storage base "Combinat Kristal" in Engels, Saratov region, where they recently extinguished a fire that lasted five days.

The Bryansk Chemical Plant in the town of Seltso, which is a strategic facility of the enemy's military-industrial complex, was also hit. The plant produces ammunition for cannon artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, aviation, engineering ammunition, and components for X-59 cruise missiles. Upon impact, secondary detonation continued on the territory for several hours.

In addition, the Defence Forces destroyed two anti-aircraft missile systems — Tor and Buk. The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine struck the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Kazanorgsintez Plant.

As a reminder, on January 8, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Kristall oil depot in Engels, which is a storage facility for the Russian state reserve.

Also that night, explosions were reported in a number of Russian regions: Tula, Saratov, and Kazan. In particular, enemy strategic aviation was attacked in Engels.
